These are only my first attempts, but it's worked very well so far. I wouldn't have been able to make such a detailed image with monotype alone, and it's made some interesting marks and textures that wouldn't have been possible with either medium used separately. It also means that each print is different, which I like.

I've been trying the same thing out with the lino/mono combo. It's so much fun! :)
Thanks Julie. Mono/lino is great isn't it! Each one is different but you don't have to start all over again. And you can get the most out of the image by trying different things with it.

What a great idea, the marks you have created are beautiful, and have so much more movement. Thank you for sharing this, I want to have a go!
